Summary: What!? 2008-07-05
Comment: As of July 5th 2008, this toy is going for $280??? Really who is making the profit here? And as far as the 1:6 scale collector toys go they are making no more of the Joker due to the Ledger Family no longer wanting people making money off of their sons untimely death. This is truly hideous and shameful. Amazon please take this listing down.

Summary: Possible Disappointed for the Second Release of these Jokers If For Investment Purposes 2008-07-05
Comment: They won't make these again like these Jokers now. These Jokers now were recalled due to a few things. The knife on his left hand was a choking hazard. And the way the Jokers face was too freakishly looking. It wasn't kid-friendly. Yes, there will be a second release, but formed differently. Why would Mattel make something exactly the same Joker which got recalled?? That's why these NOW are so rare. Even if Heath Ledger didn't die, these Jokers would still be a collectible item because they stopped making them. Heaths death just made it go CRAZY!!! AND IT WILL CONTINUE TO GO CRAZY....AFTER THE MOVIE RELEASE!!!

Comment: I have seen many toy action figures jump to extreme prices for no other reason than the seller's think there is some super value to them. this particular action figure would make a great addition to my collection, but not for the prices that most people are asking. as someone stated before, the price of the figure is retail at $9.99, $15.99 if you feel that it's worth it, anything above that would be extortion or just downright unbelievable. grow up people, not everything is worth is worth what you pay for it and if you pay anything over the prices mentioned here, you are just as ignorant as the ones selling them for the outrageous prices.

Summary: This seller should be ashamed of themselves 2008-07-03
Comment: To anyone who reads this, don't buy this action figure at this price. The manager of my local Walmart assured me that they will be getting more in of this exact action figure and it has not been discontinued.
I find it disgusting that Amazon is letting someone sell this 10 dollar toy for this much money. This person is just trying to make money off of the untimely demise of a great actor and it sickens me.
I would love to own one of these action figures because I am a fan of everything Batman, but thanks to greedy people like this one I can't find one anywhere because they horde them all to rip off people with high prices.

Comment: Now amazon is trying to sell this little piece of plastic for $129.99? That's absolutely absurd! I cannot believe they are doing this. DON'T BUY THIS FOR A PRICE LIKE THAT. It is absolutely ridiculous and I am so disappointed in amazon for trying to steal our money like that. It's a great product but I am absolutely appalled by that obscene price. Retailer's are selling it for $9.99 so everyone should just hold it out and wait till they can get it in the stores
