Izanagi, the protagonist of the popular video game Persona 4 (over 500,000 copies sold) joins the D-Arts series in exquisite form, stylish proportion based on illustrations from Naruki Fukushima, and precise detail. Personal 4 is the fourth D-Arts installment (after Digimon, Megaman and Medabots), and this is the first time an Izanagi action figure has ever been released. A Persona 4 anime has also been announced for broadcast in Japan from October2011. D-Arts Izanagi will feature a full array of weapon accessories and effect parts as well as a special display stand. Izanagi's long coat is replicated with soft materials for enhanced realism, and figure employs PVC, POM, and ABS for enhanced durability, range of movement, and detail.

This figure is super posable and fun. The icy slash accessory for his blade spear look rad in person. The paint job on one of the two I got was a bit funky, but that happens.

I'm a huge fan of the Persona series, particularly Persona 4, and I'd say that this figure would be a great buy for just about anyone who wants something unique to display. I remember when Persona 4 was still young and I wanted to have a figure iteration of it immediately, but it took a great deal of time for someone to take up interest.
I gotta say...my favorite part about this persona is his unique appearance. Since it's a persona, the designers wanted to create something abstract, and they nailed it right on. A combat blade naginata? Those funky Japanese-styled stilt shoes? (sorry, i dunno what they're actually called) Belt-headband? Awesome mask? What is that zipper-thing by its crotch...?
It just screams Persona...something that comes from the mind, and usually isn't usually shown outside of it. ...I'm getting carried away, heh.
The articulation is great, considering that most of these toys are made to be displayed in multiple ways. The blue flame pieces are an...Read more

This character is the icon and face of Persona 4.

This figure is very posable and comes with interesting accessories like the flames and slash.

The joints are made of ball and socket so moving them is easy. The giant knife fits well into his hands and looks badass.

The only problem would be how the hair band is kinda loosely attached to the head. So it falls of from time to time. but I would forgive it.

This is cool.

If you are a Persona 4 fan, get this now!
