This is a top quality figure, with extremely well executed fine details. An excellent recreation of Luis Royo's paining as a statue. It seems far better then the Sacrifice statue from the same company.

4.0 out of 5 stars Collector of fine art, January 16, 2012

Just bought this *Touch of Ice* a couple weeks ago, she's stunning & well done for the actual painting (by Luis Royo),
I've gone over this statue & surprised at all the details this peace has to offer, for one the cape, swords or jewelry
is not one solid peace, the peaces were added (from production) not like a lot of figures/statues where the peaces were
made in one solid peace !
Now for the parts of her, the fingers, feet, eyes, face or body are just exquisite & produced better than you would think.
She's the smallest in the Fantasy Figure Gallery line, that's been made at 1/8th scale, she's exact size or scale to
*Golden Lover* or *Black Tinkerbell* witch is nice, Yamato needs to do two scales IMO(one in 1:6th & 1:4th or 1/6th & 1/4th),
not many different scales like *Akira* witch is the only statue done (to date) in 1/7th scale.
Now for the bad, I guess, well to some (like my self) I know First Editions always has a higher value...Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks Great, Can't Display!, January 18, 2012
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Fantasy Figure Gallery - The Touch of Ice Statue (Toy)
I own most of the Yamato Fantasy line and thought this was the best looking one to date. I have them all displayed but this one. The figure has no way to mount on its base. She is actually knelt down on it. No pegs, screws or anything to keep her from falling over at the slightest wiggle of the figure. This would have rated much higher but this is one figure out of all that will have to remain in the box. I don't want to devalue the figure by mounting it. I can't believe it was released this way.

If you want to buy it to collect its a great purchase. If you want to display it you will be unhappy with this purchase.
