Summary: Perfect Pretend Play, Very Durable Toy 2010-02-22
Comment: We bought this toy for my 3-year-old daughter--a tomboy. She plays with it everyday, using the characters that came with it, as well as any other small characters she can find. The toy is amazingly well made--which is huge and unusual today.
I also have a 7-year-old. He and his friends also like playing with it. In fact, when an uncle bought this for my daughter at Christmas not knowing we already had it, we decided to keep the duplicate. Having two just makes the cave larger for one child and when there are two kids playing they each have their own.
While it's not a traditional educational toy, I think this is perfect for boys or girls for pretend play. Pretend play is how they figure out their world--what a great education by itself.
I would definitely buy this product for a friend.
Summary: My 5 year old loves this toy 2010-02-15
Comment: We bought this toy for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He plays with it almost everyday. His 7 and 3 year old brothers play with it as well. I think it is a great toy for the money. It is very durable and promotes imagination. In fact I just ordered the Joker's Fun House I hope it is as good as this.
Summary: Hands Down the Best Toy EVER 2010-01-29
Comment: I have four boys six and under and this toy is our favorite. I even made an exception to my rule against buying duplicate toys because son #2 coveted this toys so badly. We own every accessory available and even have duplicates of a few of them too. Well constructed. Lots of accessories. Great attention to detail. I can't say enough. I'd love to see this set continue to expand year after year to include Supermans house on Krypton...or the Leigon of Doom Headquarters (or any "bad guy" hide out equivalent in size and scope to the batcave). Great toys like this don't come along often.

Comment: I just purchased this for my son's 5th birthday. He saw this in the store early to mid 2009 and has asked for it at least once a week for about a year since first sighting. Now that he has it he doesn't play with it as much as I thought he would. It is just two days after his birthday so I'm hoping that it's just the influx of new toys that is distracting.
It is built tough like all the rest of the Fisher-Price Imaginext line. (We have the space shuttle, space station, all the alien toys and cars and they are built to last) I really like that it folds up and has a hook to lock the sides into place for easy transportation. There are some small parts that are hard to keep track of but so far nothing has been lost.
My son also received Mr. Freeze and the Batmobile as gifts and they have been a wonderful addition.
I personally think it's adorable. A WELL made toy ... built to last.
