The Halo 3: Action Figures Series 3: Jackal Major is set in 6ā scale, features multiple points of articulation and weapon accessories, and is presented in clamshell packaging. The Jackal Major is clad in sparse silver-black armor, and is equipped with a plasma pistol and energy shield, the latter of which indicates rank via color. The Jackalās vulture-like head is situated at the end of a ropey neck, the bristly plumage indicating male gender. Imbued with honed reflexes and heightened senses, Jackals fare especially well as scouts or snipers. Originally recruited as a replacement for the Grunts, the Jackals minimally adhere to the Covenant cause, and will plunder for their own benefit whenever the opportunity presents itself.
