Sideswipe is awesome!Sideswipe is another solid overall transformer in the Kre-o line. The kre-o line of transformers is a great new idea for transformers that is perfect for all ages and collectors alike. All the pieces for Sideswipe fit together very securely for a solid constuction process in either vehicle or robot mode.Sideswipe is very poseable with great stability for displaying or creating cool battle scenes with other kre-o transformers. The age recommendation is 7-14 which means the autobot hero is perfect for most ages.If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 they should be able to handle both construction processes with some practice and a little help.Sideswipe contains 220 pieces for the entire set. Some of the pieces in the set are somewhat small,so be careful when you open the bags not to misplace any pieces.Sideswipe took me 2-3 hours to build into each mode, but it is totally worth it for an amazing finished product. The robot mode is a little more difficult than the...Read more

Im 28 years old, and ordered this for my son for christmas. Ive been playing with legos since I was about 7 or 8, and have years of experience reading the instructions and putting them together, etc. So, when he opened the package, he was very suprised because he loves legos and he loves transformers. But, the instructions are a little weird because they aren't like lego instructions at all. They have you build this thing in 5 or 6 different sections and then assemble it, and the instructions are pretty obscure. Even though this isn't a Lego brand set, the blocks were of lego quality. The downside is that you have to dissamble one set to build the other one, in other words, you cant "Transform" the car into the transformer without taking it apart. I would recommend this product, it's fun to build, but the instructions may be a little confusing at times.
