McFarlane Toys NBA Sports Picks Series 17 Kobe Bryant

Comment: Kobe "The Black Mamba" Bryant is undoubtedly the most popular and outstanding professional basketball player of this generation. One of the indications of his immense popularity is the many versions of mcfarlane figures churned out on his image. Before the series 17 was released, the series 9 was the most sought after Kobe figure. It features Kobe executing a one handed slam dunk. The figure did captured this breathtaking action. However, when Kobe changed his number to 24 (from number 8), a big letdown was felt by a lot of collectors as the series 9 is no longer the updated version of Kobe. So, when series 17 came out with the Kobe Bryant figure , in the same action sequence as that of series 9, yet in the magnificent Laker white home jersey, I didnt waste time in ordering it. In fact, i got 3, one for my display rack, one as a collection and another one, as a gift for my Dad, who like me, is a Laker fanatic.
