this is worth 60 dollars definetly, people complain that mega bloks come apart to easy and are not stable but the pelican is like a rock I have droped this thing many times and it just refuses to break (exept for the cockpit) but the pelican itself is great with the bonus of 2 yellow spartans and a hayabusa spartan. I would recomend this to anyone that would play with it or put it on display this would be a great center piece to any colecter or halo fan but this is now available at target for 60 dollars so you dont have to order it. Overall just the best work mega bloks has ever done the picture on this site IS NOT the real pelican you will recieve you will get the one in the second picture the one of the box.

I love the halo Mega bloks, while sometimes the pieces aren't perfect the models are really cool when they're built. My fiancé and I picked this up and had a great afternoon working together to build it. This is one of the better sets, I think. Nearly 1000 pieces, it took us several hours to put together and we are both experienced with models. It came missing a piece, but luckily we were able to easily modify the model with some spare parts and it still turned out great. The model is very solid once put together, and while I don't really play with it much (it's mostly decoration), but it's pretty sturdy with lots of cool moving parts so I'm sure it would be fun to play with. All in all, a good buy for the money and one of the better sets in the series. The picture doesn't really do it justice, it's impressive in person.

We've purchased just about all the Halo Mega Bloks sets. My son was really excited about this one and saved up a lot of money to get it. The quality of these sets have always been a little below Lego kits with a few pieces that don't fit (super glue is your friend here) but Lego doesn't do Halo. Score one for Mega Bloks. After a couple hours into the build, our first kit had to be returned because it was missing 25 critical pieces. We exchanged it for another kit ...spent another 2 hours putting it together and it was missing the same set of pieces and had a broken action figure. I figured this might be a flaw in the assembly line at Mega Blok, so I went to their web site and simply requested the replacement parts. Within a couple of days, they responded to my request and said they had shipped the replacement parts...couple be two weeks. That was over two weeks ago and I still haven't recieved the parts.
