Muramasa The Demon Blade: Momohime 1/8 Scale PVC Figure

Having only recently begun collecting anime and manga figures, I am nonetheless proud to add Momohime to my small collection. From coloring, to pose, to expression, to additional parts, this figure is as close to perfect as I could want. Easy to assemble and change, excellent to view or photograph from any angle, and shipped in a gorgeous collector's box for ease of display. While she is well-worth the price I paid, other potential buyers might want to compare prices, to see if an even better deal is available.

On a side note, Alter is, so far, my favorite figure company, and I look forward to buying from them in the future.

(PS. Someone should create figures for other characters from Muramasa: Demon Blade-- especially Torahime, Kongiku, and Yuzuruha.)

I collect a lot of figures, and this is one of my favorites. Being 1/8 scale, this is one of my smaller ones, but it's also definitely one of the best quality.

All of its technical aspects are pretty much faultless. Both the paint job and the sculpt are top tier. Hair generally tends to be a problem area for figures, but this figure's hair is sculpted with confidence and great detail, and that level of craftsmanship is carried throughout the entire figure, including her stand. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the water and rocks on her stand are appropriately shiny, which makes them look more interesting and believable. Her shoulder plates are also sculpted with a subtle coarse metallic texture. I could go on but it's suffice to just say that this is pretty much as good as it gets with PVC figures.

This is an amazing figure, especially if you're a fan of the beautiful Muramasa game, but you should definitely search around. I was able to find it for a little under $100.
