Summary: Gears of War Collection 2008-07-25
Comment: The product itself is great. A lot of work and detail obviously went into this product to keep it true to the video game characters. I made this purchase as a gift to someone and that person was thrilled to receive it.

Summary: Gears toys not as good as McFarland's toys 2008-07-04
Comment: The attention to charactor detail is excellent, the attention to toy detail is lacking. The figures are very limited in their posability. The points of articulation are much fewer than the McFarland Halo figures. They look very nice standing on my desk, but they really only have one stance you can put them in.

Comment: These figures were purchased for my grandson and are the main figures from the video game "Gears of War".
They are great looking and the detail is as my grandson puts it "tight".
They are sturdy, built well, and are heavy. He has them on display.
I will purchase the second set when they are released.
