Summary: You only get 1 for free 2008-07-08
Comment: If you happen to like these remote jackets, you can get one (1) for free from Nintendo if your console didn't include one when you purchased it. You will be required to provide the serial number on the back of your Wii console to confirm this. Once confirmed you will get 1 (ONE) cover.
If you want a second cover you will need to buy one which is why amazon sells them.
Also i have the remote charger and it's quite easy to pull back the bottom half of the cover and place it on the charger. Also the hole at the top that allows the signal to pass to the Wii is correctly sized (I have 2 and they both fit perfectly). If you have one that's not it's probably a knockoff or defective.
Aside from all that if you want a good quality gripping surface this is the jacket you want. I have large hands and this jacket made the remote much more comfortable to hold for more than 10 minutes.

Summary: No need for this nor would you want it 2008-05-09
Comment: One as stated before me Nintendo will ship this out for free if you were not given one with your WII. Two it is a huge pain and we do not use ours. Three if you buy the WII docking station (to charge the batteries) you can not use this cover as it blocks the sensors to charge the batteries. All in all they will sit in a box so don't waste your time or money!

Summary: An All Around Hassle 2008-04-19
Comment: For starters, anyone thinking of purchasing this might want to check again. If your wii did not come with these (It's probably an older model >.<) call Nintendo with your Wii information and they will send you out them immediately.
BUT!
Why would anybody want these? The slimmer skins are much better for grip during game play and, unlike this one, do not block the sensor bar.
We had originally thought that it was the positioning of the sensor bar, or something wrong with the wiimote..but upon examining the cover..we realized that the hole in the top is smaller than the actual sensor square. After taking the case off, the wiimote worked very well, leaving no mystery to what caused it's brief malfunction.
