Summary: generation 2 revoltech evangelion 2008-09-17
Comment: this evangelion is nice but one of his feet are slightly bent more then the other ive noticed this on my generation 3 evangelion which by the way his wrists are articulate unlike this one where they only spin also her legs are bowed weird probably so she can stand so aggressively low but standing up right kinda looks weird also the rounded blade she has seemed light and cheap only cause it didn't really fit into her hands

Summary: 1997 Movie version 2008-04-28
Comment: Just so future purchasers are aware, there are two different 'Movie Versions' lines of revoltech Evangelion figures.
There is the 1997 Movie version, which refers to toys based on the movie 'End of Evangelion'. This toy is a part of that 1997 line which do not have revoltech joints in the wrists and single joints in the knees.
The other 'Movie Version' of Evangelion toys are the ones based on the 'Rebuild of Evangelion' tetralogy of toys, the first of which was released in 2007. These toys feature different molds for each Eva unit (instead of the same mold for each, just in a different color), more dynamic color schemes, jointed wrists, and double-joint knees.
Amazon.com doesn't differentiate between the 1997 toyline and the 2007 toyline, billing both as 'Movie Version'.
As of the date of this writing, the only eva units released based on the 2007 movies are the yellow prototype Unit-00 and Test Unit-01. They are a much better quality than the previous toys, so I would hold out for them.
Still, I've got every Revoltech Evangelion Unit produced to date and they have all been wonderful quality, posablity, and durability.

Summary: Not as good... 2007-12-18
Comment: This figure is not as good as the other series, if you want eva unit 02, buy the other one, the one. This "Movie version" has no revoltech joint on the wrists and is not as detailed as the other one
(for example, there's no number or name on her shoulders or arms). I just got it 'cause I wanted the mass production model sword that comes with it.
