I bought this lobster in 2010 as a joke for $2 and it turned out to be one of my best purchases. The lobster brought good luck to myself and all of those around me. It may just look like a heavy plastic crustacean but it is much more. The lobster can easily hang on a wall or be left of a desk as a paper weight. For some reason the toy also prevented people from cursing in its presence, very helpful when children are around. Unfortunately my lobster was lost during a construction project and things took a turn for the worst (Debt ceiling raised, earthquakes and skyrocketing gas prices). I hope that by buying a new one my luck will return.

I live in Maine and i know what a maine lobster looks like, this toy re-creates a lobster very well. Durable hard rubber. I bought this to place in one of my lobster trap tables. looks good!

the lobster is a bit heavy but i am not using this toy for its intended purpose i am using it for arts and crafts purposes but the toy still works for that purpose too. but as a toy the lobster might be a little heavy for a young child.
