I'm a huge fan of Boba Fett. I was glad to finally see a well done helmet at a good price. The first thing you will notice is this is not movie accurate. The visor is enlarged so that you can see out of it, I guess. Overall the helmet seems pretty big, I can't imagine how funny this would look on a child. The helmet comes split in half and snaps together. I'm not sure if mine is missing a piece but one the bottom edges does not snap, looks like something is missing there. There are two small red lights on the antenna top and bottom. The speaker is on the left, and there are two control buttons on the antenna side. Audio seems plenty loud for me, but I didn't buy it for that feature. Batteries are included. The paint job is well done. Inside the mask there is an adjustable head strap and "goggles" that fit around your nose and eyes. The helmet is vented on the back, side and cheek lines. I'm very happy with this helmet since I'm a budget collector.

It's about time they expanded the Star Wars helmets! My son loves all things Boba Fett so when I ran across this one at a reasonable price, I grabbed it. With holidays coming, the prices always fluctuate wildly so I consider the price at under $40 a steal.
You need to click the two halves of this helmet together and place the antenna in a fitted slot. If this helmet is anything like the clone trooper ones, they should last despite rough play. My boys have had the clone trooper helmets for over for 2 years and although they come apart under heavy contact, they easily snap back together. It is not flimsy and another plus is the staying power for play. My boys play with their clone trooper helmets all the time, even after 2 years.
The only possible issues I see are the question of antenna longevity and the lower volume of Boba Fett's recordings. The volume is pretty low especially when compared to Captain Rex or Clone Trooper helmets.
Overall, a...Read more

This is a better addition to the costume of Boba Fett. It's easily assembled and looks pretty cool (or so my 9 yr. old son says, and I have to agree). The downfall is that you can't hear all the phrases and sound effects (and there are a lot). It's electronic, but no one can hear it but maybe the person wearing it. And yes, I've replaced the batteries with new ones several times...no louder than the ones it came with. Maybe I just got a defective one (ordered it online, so have no others to compare to, except my son's clone trooper electronic helmet, which is loud!).
