Product Description
For ground combat vehicles, the TX-130S Republic fighter tank has few equals. Though generally manned by a clone pilot and gunner, the vehicle's speed and maneuverability respond well to the Force-enhanced skills of a Jedi commander. The tank is armed with a turret mounted laser cannon and dual heavy cannons that can fire concussion missiles. Sleek and stylish, this futuristic spacecraft vehicle is loaded with details to help whisk you away on all of your own imaginative Star Wars adventures. Send this vehicle rolling down a "runway" for takeoff into another galaxy with its real rolling wheels. Turn the rotating turret to get enemies in sight, aim the "missiles" at your targets and fire. Comment: I have two small sons who are huge Star Wars fans. This was purchased by them with their pooled allowance money. A big hit was the cardboard background included in the package so be careful when opening the box! This is played with all the time even if the vehicle itself isn't in constant play.
Please note that this Republic vehicle does not come with any figures. It does open to allow a figure to man the fighter plane and it has shooting missiles. This is a cool feature as it allows the boys to attack Jedi figures they have painstakingly set up. It has survived mid-air crashes so it's sturdy.
My boys prefer playing with the driving vehicles the most but do use planes on occasion. The least favorite are the pods so don't waste your money on them. We got it on sale so overall, it was worth the price.

Pros:
Seats two figures in the cabin, and one in the "Commanders seat". (3 total)
Two large storage bins located on both sides of the pylons.
Very, very well designed and constructed.
Very durable.
Cons:
The turret is difficult to move.
Like a lot of the new vehicles, it has a very basic paint job. very little detail in it.
Overall this is a great addition to your collection. The cabin is not as detailed as I would have hoped, but is has some detail. The price like all of the newer vehicles is a bit overpriced, $24.99 is what you will pay pretty much anywhere. But it is a good median between speeders and the larger AT-TE/Turbo tank. Great addition to any collection, I have four (just in time for the new paint job release in August) and they all fit in perfectly with my collection.
