Summary: Love 'em. Wish I found them earlier or they would bring them back. 2006-02-13
Comment: I just "discovered" these for my 3yo Star Wars nut. Once I found them, I've been buying them when I can since there's being phased out, I guess. I love them too. for being so small they are very detailed and my son loves to play with them. Like another person said, he takes them every where. I wish they would bring them back to production so I could complete the set, but for being late in the game, I've almost all. Very cool!

Summary: Aside from Anakin, this is a great set. Wait, what? 2006-01-14
Comment: Hoo boy, isn't this a great set. Manequin...I mean, Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku, the worst named antagonist in the SW universe as far as I know. Even worse than Darth Maul[ester]. It's too bad too, because he was a fairly cool bad guy and could match Yoda in both Force powers and combat, and was the one to recruit my woman- Asajj Ventress. Anakin on the other hand, just ran around trying to convince the audience he can act, and killed kids and Sand People. At least the figures of them here look cool. I'm a sucker for lightsabers, and that's a winning factor with these two. Though I don't think the young'uns will be fond of an old man and a "hero" with a huge forehead.

Both figures aren't that mobile- you can only move their right wrists, nothing else. Arms, legs, heads, none of 'em are movable, but that's where imagination steps in. Count Dooku looks a little younger than he does in the movies, and doesn't have the wrinkles or liver spots. His outfit in the movies was pretty boring, but it manages to look good on this figure. His boots are nice and shiny, the cape has creases, and his belt has all the ridges it's supposed to. His hair is fairly detailed as well. For young kids or not, this is one of the better Dooku figures I've seen. His lightsaber blade is the same length as Obi-Wan's and Anakin's, but his handle is a bit longer. Maybe it's because he has one of the cooler Samurai-inspired handles, or maybe it's just because of the way he's holding it. Anakin...looks like he wants a hug. His left hand is in a weird, frog-like pose, and his head is stretched out a little bit more than the others. His outfit is full of great, small details, like the pockets and everything on his belt. His lightsaber is identical to Obi-Wan's in design and length. Honestly, I hate Anakin, and don't want to talk about him any more. I'm done here.

Unless you're a really big fan of these two, I'd hold off on them and go for some of the cooler sets like Obi-Wan + Darth Vader and the Jawa + Tusken Raider sets. Anakin was never cool no matter how you look at it. Poor Dooku has to live with being defeated by him in the movies, and being packaged with him in an action figure set.

Summary: Great Use of a Toddler's Imagination 2005-05-13
Comment: I have a two year that absolutely loves the Galactic Heroes. They are just the right size for his little hands. He carries them around everywhere. I"m all the time finding them in his pockets. Since purchasing these characters, it seems that his imagination has flurished. He now creates scenarios for them, he talks, to them, and even acts like he's protecting them. They are so much fun for toddlers. The only down fall is the lightsabers. I found him on one occasion trying to stick it in his ear. The lightsabers are not detachable but they are small enough to be poked inside the ear. Over all, I think this is a great product. It's fun for the little guys, and it brings back old memories for the parents.
