I also purchased this for my son for this 2010 Christmas from Target and paid $24.00
He has not yet played with it, but I do remember these toys from when my brother was younger. I can't wait to see his face Christmas morning and I look forward to adding more pieces to his Star Wars collection!!
What no sound?,

Unlike the original this version has no sound. Hence my 3 stars overall. I picked this up for my son who loves star wars. The first thing he said when he picked this one up was, "Its missing its thing". After some guessing I discovered he meant the battery compartment on the body. He was right that it didn't have the battery comparment on the cockpit, lights, or sound. It turns out this edition doesn't have those.
Even though it doesn't make sound he still really likes it.
sweet!,

nice attention to detail. No sounds and lights like the classic one BUT the panels are built the same as the old ones and are interchangeable.
