Summary: A welcome remake finally! 2007-07-29
Comment: This is only the third R5-D4 3 3/4 figure made. The original vintage figure was a fan favorite, the 1995 POTF 2 was a big disappointment, while this one is much better. It's based on an earlier R2-D2 figure mold, with one of the panels glued in place. The "bad motivator" works great on this dome. The third leg is a separate piece, and unfortunately, this figure isn't based on the R2 mold where the leg can retract. The panels on the back should be painted red, and this is a detail forgotten by Hasbro. Otherwise, it's a welcome remake of a fan favorite.
