Transformers Movie 2 Deluxe Sideswipe

Sideswipe is one of the hip new autobots who will appear in the Revenge of the Fallen movie. According to the packaging he likes close combat and is a sword expert.

For kids:
This guy is a sweet ride. He's a silver Corvette concept with blue windows and is probably one of the sportiest cars in the line. He transforms fairly easily but has tons of little bits and parts that move and come apart and go together. Because of this he doesn't seem quite as durable to me as some of the others. His swords are one of the coolest "mech-alive" features I've seen yet though and he's got a pretty cool looking robot form. I think he might frustrate younger kids but most kids will like both the car and robot forms.

For adults:
This guy is still a sweet ride. I even want to drive him around and make engine noises. He is painted silver instead of just molded in a certain color and this makes him pop visually. The downside is that over time I see this paint...Read more

Sideswide car mode is really cool and sleek though it seems this figure was a little rushed due too the many seams that stick out which could have been fixed before release. the transformation can be a tad tricky cause the instructions have no words other then the disclaimer about pieces that can come off. but that aside the only tricky part is when you have to fold his body together if the mirrors aren't moved outward enough it won't fold at all, but once transformed he strikes a killer bot.

the upper and lower torso are well detailed despite the lack of paint or decals. my only real issue his is feet he seems too be a tad difficult trying to get it too stand with out support but that's my only complaint for this figure. I would suggest this too all veteran and new collectors as well to anyone who just likes transformers.

IF YOU ARE A HUGE FAN OF TRANSFORMERS THEN THIS IS ONE OF THE TOYS YOU SHOULD COLLECT FOR YOUR COLLECTION. I GOT THIS TOY SINCE MY COUSIN WORKED AT CHEVY CORP. AND WAS ABLE TO OWN THE SIDESWIPE AS A CHIEF MEMBER FOR WORKING WITH CHEVY. I SAW THE DETAILS OF HIS CAR AND I WAS AMAZED!!!! JUST WISH THIS CAR WAS FOR TRANSFORMERS WAS DIECAST METAL. GREAT FOR KIDS AND FOR ADULTS AS COLLECTIBLES.
