Summary: pretty cool 2010-08-30
Comment: i ordered this with two other transformers. it arrived very well and well packed. it was well protected and the boxes were mint. but i opened them so the box thing is only for collectors looking to buy. its easy to transform and is more articulated and detailed than cheaper versions ( ie. deluxe edition mrsp 11.99 ). the little sam figure is another story. hes not that detailed so collectors beware but for a toy hes perfectly fine. he can sit inside the camaro or on bumblebee s hand on a cannon. it is very sturdy and well articulated. just remember dont expect the most articulation in a transformer ever. if you want that go for the $100 ultimate bumblebee. but if you want a cool toy or a action figure with more than average articulation and guns/cannons that flip up then this is your toy... 5+/5
Summary: good transformer 2010-07-27
Comment: I was a little nervous purchasing this transformer, since some do break easily, are small, and are hard to transform. But this Bumblebee transformer is great. My son had it transformed in just a little bit. It is a good size and very durable so far.
Summary: Good model, bad toy 2010-07-01
Comment: I bought this recently for my friend who loves Transformers. Right as it came out of the box I was surprised at how good the actual quality of the model is. The paint and decals on the body are really good looking, and the clear windows add a lot of realism to the car form.
As any good transformer fan is going to do, we went to work on transforming it from it's car form to robot form. This is a very difficult task indeed. Most of the parts are hard to get a grip on, and alot of times you don't think the piece can move for fear of breaking it, but after checking the instructions for the 5th time you realize it is safe to pull a bit harder. Although plenty strong enough or a careful modeler to transform, this is definitely not something a kid would be able to do more than once without snapping pieces.
With the car fully transformed to robot mode (a good 45 minute affair), I was once again pleasantly surprised with the actual craftsmanship of the model. It looks wonderful, and has a ton of points of articulation, making it move quite well. The robot form can stand on it's own and hold poses. The only part I dislike about the robot form is the head, which appears to be a different plastic than the rest of the body, and actually pops off without much force.
My last remarks will be about the Sam model which comes with the model. Sam can fit inside when the model is in robot mode, and there are plenty of areas designed to hold Sam in the robot mode. Sam himself has an amazing amount of articulation, having arm joints, legs, knees, even a waist joint. Sam is made out of a different material than bumble bee though, and his craftsmanship besides the pose-ability is quite poor. His face looks extremely simple, and the paint is no where near comparable to Bumble Bee's. (Sam is currently strapped to a rocket awaiting the 4th of July celebrations)

Last Thoughts - This toy should really be treated more like a model. Although it is extremely pose-able, transforms and has a rider, the parts themselves to not feel sturdy, and any type of prolonged play would likely break one of the many pieces. Over all it is a great addition to any transformer collection, and looks exceptionally good when posed up high on a shelf, to watch over all humans and keep our planet free.
Summary: Best Bumblebee Ever Made 2010-04-04
Comment: My son got this for his birthday and he was so pleased with it. He was so excited to play with it and it only took him a few seconds to get it out of the box. He played with it constantly and for several hours. At first the transformation seemed hard but he figured it out very quickly and he can now do it with ease. It features great articulation. It is very screen accurate and matches the movie model quite nicely. The Sam Witwicky figure actually looks like Shia Labouf. My son loves this figure and it is one of his favorites.

Note: There is a modification that can be made to make the figure even more screen accurate. If you want to do this with your figure it is actually pretty simple. There are two screws in the back of his waste. Unscrew them and split the waste in half. After that swap the legs and rotate and twist them so that the wheels are faceing the outside of his body. Finally put the legs into place and screw the waste back together. He will still transform into car mode but you have to make a clearense in the waste so that it will rotate. Rotate and twist the legs around so that everything will fit. He will transform the same after that is done.
Summary: Not what i expected 2010-03-17
Comment: I ordered this toy as a present for my godson. I didnt expect it to be so small!! When i opened the package i was very dissapointed on the size of this toy and so was my godson. Unfortunately there was no time to send it back cause it was his christmas present. The price listed is extremely high for this product but the good thing is it was shipped very quick!!!
