Mega Bloks UNSC Shortsword

Im not an avid player of the game but I love scifi and I love ships of any kind. Im very familiar with the artwork for HALO 2/WARS and I really did enjoy the ultra cool ships that were done for the games. You definately get a cool ship with a pilot, two enemy figures and it has removeable landing gear. She is pretty solid and I am going to get the Pelican at some point. I think MEGA BLOKS has done a great job with this license and I definately want to get more figures. If they do a PILLAR OF AUTUMN or COVENANT ship, I know I will spend more money. The figures are small and chunky but well detailed. Army building is easy and affordable. Some of the bricks still carry that MEGA BLOK quality==they dont all fit like lego, some force is required. If you want to know how big it really is, the picture on the box is pretty much spot on. Its good sized about 12 inches long and maybe 15 inches wide. Fun toy and for fans, its a must.

The more we see Lego imitators, the more I respect their advanced R & D.

My son really wishes we would let him play Halo, so really wanted this when he saw it. It is pretty cool looking when built, but getting there is a huge challenge. Clearly Mega Bloks haven't gotten the exact right plastic formula down. While for the most part it doesn't spring apart again on its own (like we saw with Space Shuttle 140 Piece Best Lock Construction Toy with Action Figure, as well as Mega Bloks Halo Wars UNSC Scorpion) it is extremely difficult to build. My grandson's love of Lego products knows no bounds. The latest addition to his growing collection was a true hit and one that got opened right after cake & ice cream. A best-friend cousin and he were quiet and happy for quite a while. Always a sure hit!
