This review is from: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B Furuta Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection 2 Miniature Display Model (Toy)
Okay, it's a small, cheap, Japanese-made (or Chinese, probably) model of the NCC-1701B, (in)famous for being the vessel from which Captain James T Kirk was sucked in the Nexus, and presumed dead. (And I think it's safe to say that, for many of us, the story would have best ended there, but this is about the model, not the movie). But, hey, it's the *Enterprise*, it looks pretty decent, and as long as it remains on the shelf in static display it should last longer than most Trekkies. The warp nacelles were misaligned, probably by the encounter with the Nexus. I think they could be straightened with a little heat, but I haven't got that ambitious yet. I was pleased with the detail and the paint. Some assembly required.
