I miss the way things were made in the 50's and 60's. This toy is as good as any you could get then. It is mostly metal. The plastic grip could be a little longer, but it works. The paper caps do roll upward (as intended) each time the trigger is pulled. This is a great replacement for the cheap plastic gun from WM that would not scroll the caps consistantly.
This is a great gun. I recommend it to everyone.
* Seller said caps come with it - - - but they don't. The pkg mentions caps, as in this is what it will shoot; but they are not supplied with the gun. So be sure to order paper caps so you will be ready for action when your gun arrives!

We bought this cap gun to replace one from Dollar General that broke after a few days and we still had plenty of caps to use up. This gun looked like the best buy for the money but, it broke the first day! I've come to the conclusion that they just don't make 'em like they used to.
